How ratification works
The report is circulated to the full Committee. You have five business days to object. If no one objects, the batch is ratified and takes effect. Any objection removes that item from the batch and carries it to the next meeting for discussion; the rest of the batch still stands.
Not every item in a report needs a vote. Items marked Administrative matched a provider the Committee has already tiered — applying that tier executes a decision already made, and those items are reported in aggregate rather than ratified individually. Items marked Committee decision are the ones that genuinely require you.
Objecting is cheap and is meant to be. An objection is not a veto and does not require a reasoned brief. It moves one item from “ratified by silence” to “discussed at the next meeting.” If something looks wrong, say so and let the discussion sort it out.
Open before the Committee
DR-017 — Does ATFA accept education from providers who are not accredited CE sponsors?
Unresolved. It blocks tier assignment for Shenkman Education and any similarly-situated provider, and those submissions are being held rather than denied. This is the only open entry in the register and the one with the widest downstream effect.
